ATTENTION ALL GIRLS: We ALL know that the lower stomach is one of the very hardest places to burn fat and tone.

These are some terrific exercises to do in the morning and at night to burn those hard to tone areas!

Do this every morning when you wake up, and every night before you sleep. I guarantee you’ll see results in a week flat!

Liking and reblogging for future reference!

Oh man, my old soccer coach used to make us do the top left one

Used to do these in ballet class.

Great way for us art vampires to stay in shape!
Or if you just want reference for drawing characters exercising.

these are pretty good for anyone to do really 8D

You can’t “spot burn” or target fat with specific exercises. If you want definition, you need to burn fat everywhere. Period. Core exercises like these are not an effective way to burn fat, either, as these movements burn a minuscule amount of calories.

Compound lifts (deadlifts, squats, clean and jerk etc.), high-intensity interval training, supramaximal interval training, and plain ol’ mid-intensity steady-state aerobic conditioning are far more efficient at building strength and burning fat. This is especially true when all of these training methods are combined in a well-balanced, varied training regimen with a nutritious diet.

I never expected to change…

Personally, I found my workouts suffered. I became more rigid in my routine planning, and I found that I spend too much time trying to document everything I did in the gym instead of actually putting in the work. I also found myself doing less of the exercises that were not in the database because I couldn’t get points for them. Ultimately, I did much better when I left the fitocracy app and site behind. I understand it works for many people, but it just was not for me.

There are many days you’ll feel exhausted, weak, unmotivated, distracted or otherwise disinclined to train or to commit full effort and focus to training. These are the days you earn your progress, because these are the days that test your commitment. Everyone loves training when they feel good and perform well - doing what you’re expected to do on these days is nothing special. It’s the days you can barely force yourself to tie your shoes or put the bar on your back for the first time that define your character as an athlete. Are you going to surrender to complacency and comfort, or are you going to refocus on your goals and step up to the challenge?
